True, but that doesn't actually make the results of climate research false, nor does it magically turn some cue-card reader's blog into a scientific publication. These are two of the cornerstones on which the denialists here base their claims (arguments is completely the wrong word); conspiracy theories and imagined expertise that doesn't exist.

The third cornerstone is something like "Al Gore! Wahhhh!"

That is ok as in Eric the Viking and the people on the sinking island, just ignore it everything will be just fine.

This was claimed a few years ago, and a few years before that and a few years before that and...........

You tried once, I explained how your citations didn't support the claim you thought they proved. That you still think they do shows a failure to understand the issue. I see no reason to think you're qualified to understand or critique the findings of actual scientists, and I base this on your rather simple and easily countered claims.

no. no you didnt. my 'citations' are to the work of a PhD climatologist who focuses on Hurricane research.

the actual numbers ACE that he sites, are in fact the GLOBAL STANDARD .

and the fact is, there is no question whatsoever about what they mean. You can say all you want about how that doesnt matter but the facts are the facts and everyone can read it for themselves.

GLOBAL ACE is very near the 40 year record low. the trend since 2006 has been drastically DOWN.

That is not a one year anomaly. That is not some stat that doesnt jive with the rest of the scientific record.

That is the simple fact, reproducable from the data regardless of where you get the data. you guys have been screaming since Katrina over every wind storm that blows up, that it is proof of global warming. But the facts dont lie. the numbers are in.

Hurricans have decreased and are at a very low point over a LOT of years.

These are the same fools who say 2-4 inches of snow overnight and you wake up to over a foot...and vice versa.

Climate science talks about overall environmental changes, and those changes potentially correlated impacts to human beings.

As with anything, if you up your chance of getting a hurricane by 10% doesn't mean that in a given year you will get extreme events or not

Just as we can't say 100% sure if a extreme weather event (drought in Colorado) is due to climate change.

You can only tell after a period of years and the number of extreme events have significantly changed

one year, is an anomaly
three years is a trend

A snowstorm in April doesn't prove global warming doesn't exist

A drought in July doesn't prove it does exist
???

seriously people. go to this link, and look at the actual data on hurricanes.

policlimate.com | Dr. Ryan Maue's Global Tropical Cyclone Activity Update

i m not sure how anyone can look at the actual data and still believe the claim that hurricans are worse today because of CAGW.
