Ummm, actually, 415_s2k, Michael Jones was charged with the use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon and accessory to murder after the fact. His bond was set at one million dollars. He was supposedly the driver of the car the alleged killers were in, and he allegedly helped hide weapons. When he was brought into court to hear the charges against him, he said he didn't pull the trigger. The judge told him it wasn't the time to discuss the facts of the case--that this was only to present the charges against him.
Chancey Luna and James Edwards, Jr., were charged as adults with murder in the first degree. Both of them are being held without bond. Luna is believed to be the one who shot Christopher Lane in the back as he jogged down Country Club Road.
They were "bored."
All three of them were caught in a church parking lot across the street from a house they were allegedly scoping out to confront another teen. That teen's parents called the police saying that their son was afraid for his life.

There are many freedoms and rights that you enjoy and those freedoms and rights come from the struggles of others before your ancestors arrived in America. Funny thing is I never here people make the argument that they should not have those freedoms or rights because they nor their ancestors are responsible for creating them. On the other hand I am always hearing about some liability from the past, the peoples ancestors did not help create and therefore they should somehow be exempt.The way I understand citizenship is that you have to take the good with the bad....or nothing at all.
What you've just written is that people who arrived after slavery was abolished have some responsibility for slavery and therefore should be subjected to the petulant and wanton nature of individuals who've been taught generation after generation that violent retribution is theirs to inflict upon any individual not of their race.
The immigrant arrives at a certain point in time and has no control over what transpired up until that moment in time. It is their job to make a better life while giving back to the country which has accepted them. By contributing to their new nation, they are helping build upon the foundation laid by others. It is those who have been here for generations who have decided that their contribution is to extract a pound of flesh from anyone who might remotely resemble a slave owner from 160 years ago who are destroying the very fabric of the freedoms and rights previously created by our forefathers.

He was driving, and a weapon was fired from the vehicle Jones was operating. That's what use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon means. It does not mean he fired the weapon. Luna has been accused of firing the weapon -- a.k.a. "SHOOTING."

James Edwards, one of the killers of the Australian baseball player has a Twitter feed full of glorifying violence, hip hop and sex. (Just a normal teen, right libs?) Teens say stuff, but never plan to act on it. You know, until they shoot an innocent person in the back because they are "bored."
And he posted about hating white people and beating up 5 "woods" (prison slang for white people) after the Zimmerman verdict.
This is the insanity liberals and black leaders have created. A Hispanic shoots a black in self defense, and innocent white people get beat up and killed in response.
But, of course, the shooting of Chris Lane isn't race based. And Jesse Jackson has come out to say he "frowns" upon this. Guess Jackson couldn't find any fiery rhetoric for the cold blooded murder of an innocent white kid. The best he could do was a tweet saying he "frowned upon it." Hey, it's just a white guy. No loss.

My heart aches for the murdered Australian baseball player, his family and friends. These young men should be (and most likely will be) brought to justice for this heinous crime based in hatred.

Why didn't people in the 1800s implement a Marshall Plan? Really? You're second guessing why people who lived in a time with attitudes and mores far different from today's did or did not do something?
The United States - like most advanced nations - has implemented a "Marshall Plan" that addresses ALL of those that slip through the cracks. Of all races, creeds, etc.
Scholarship programs, cash assistance, housing assistance, free medical care. Minority business loans and preferences. The plan is NOW. The plan is HERE. Take advantage of what's out there if you NEED it. It is not restricted only to blacks, but why does it need to be? Modern life in a capitalist society will always create winners and losers. Those that TRULY exhibit detrimental effects have a world of help at their doorstep.
Interestingly, many black Oklahomans and midwesterners took advantage of the Homestead Act, which was adopted shortly after emancipation. This free land - every bit "40 acres" and more, was available to EVERY citizen of the United States.

Nah, Chancey Luna is a dark complected white hispanic. Now had he been shot by the australian guy, then yes he would be black but that's not the case.
Just having a little humor given that the so many bent over backwards (including the justice department) to make the idiot zimmerman out to be "racist" and then turn around and try to spin this in the other direction.
This story and more like it are the blow-back for having to hear about how if you make a poor decision, or act stupidly or just have a confrontation (your fault or the other guys) that people are going to drag out their paint samples, compare pigmentation and then try to declare you a racist.
