He commented on the trayvon martin case close to a MONTH after the incident. What double standard is being used here?
Because the incident didn't become national news for about a month after the incident. Because, no sooner was it on the news, the President was making comments -and those comments hinted at a race crime (that wasn't.)
Did the three teens who admitted they killed Chris Lane get released, after giving their statements, without any charges being filed?
No charges have been filed (as they are determining to charge them as adults or not). But all are still in custody. The oldest has provided his confession to the crime.

And I repeat:
So freaking what? He's a human being and has opinions like you and I. No one is stopping you from going to the media or starting your own podcast/ website etc, and voicing your opinions.

Actually no. The Sanford Police initially suggest a charge...but the prosecutor said no. And the prosecutor continued to say no until overridden by the state at the insistence of the Governor.
One officer thought he should be charged with something, the department did not, the chief of police stated on March 12th that there was no evidence to dispute Zimmerman's assertion that it was self defense.
The prosecutor thinking there was no case only seems to back up the fact that there was no case.
The not guilty finding by a jury further builds on that.

You and I aren't leaders of the country. And who has a better bully pulpit? If you're gonna open your mouth in one case you should be consistent. FWIW, I predict a better than 50% chance the President will speak out on this case -but it'll be because his handlers think it's good for his image.
It's very evident why...they don't give two sh*ts about white people. They are so blinded by this overtly sycophantic, pseudo racism that supposedly exists against everyone that is a minority by the big, bad white people. What is even worse is that liberals insist on denying the relevance of federal statistics relating to criminality and the propensity for the criminal to be a young black or hispanic male. It takes some pretty remarkable voodoo logic to look at a demographic that represents less than 1/5 of the US population yet over 50% of the murders and not see a major problem with the behavior of this demographic. I can assure you...White people are NOT the biggest threat within the black community...it's 18-24 young black males. People like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have ZERO interest in addressing the culture of violence and drugs in the inner cities, but low and behold if we have a white guy cast an uncertain glance at some thugged out kid walking like he has gout then we are the scourge of the universe. Sharpton and Jackson have benefited financially for years and years by being effecitvely two of the loudest racists in modern history.
It WASN'T a crime. And there wasn't a scintilla of evidence that race was a factor; a bunch of liberals just "knew" it was racially motivated. In this case, one of the suspects has recently tweeted racially bigoted statements. The likelihood of racial animus is much less of a stretch.
Of course not. Never is when a black teen dies.
