She missed the UN Security Council meeting this week about the
possible Chem/Bio attack on Syrians.
The dead bodies stack up in Syria, Christian churches are burning in Egypt and Sam Powers is AWOL.

Power joined the Obama State Department transition team in late November 2008, and was named Special Assistant to President Obama and Senior Director for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights on the National Security Council — responsible for running the Office of Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights — positions that she held from January 2009 to March 2013. In April 2012, Obama chose her to chair a newly formed Atrocities Prevention Board. Samantha Powers actually joined the Obama Team right after he was elected to the US Senate - she is a long time follower - I wonder how well she is sleeping these days. She used to write about human rights abuse, now she hides from them. I often wonder about her - the Samantha Powers hearing for her confirmation as UN Ambassador were beyond bizarre - she has been making anti-American speeches for years and now she represents us at the most useless organization on Earth. Strange Times.
