What folks don't or won't realize is that There IS slavery going on here right now! Sexual slavery, which is fowl beyond anything. Russians here in Florida have a huge market, Caribbean folks also...Jamaica and also all parts of it even Cuba.

These little kids are sold and then trained and then gotten through the mill. we really need to get off the old civil war slaves bit and really think about the young and lost.

Slavery is alive and well in America as far as kidnapped and forced, slavery is healthy today with the corporate class and our wages being stagnet for almost thirty years.

So to bring up what happened in the 1800 is just something that is sour grapes. Guess what Africian sold the Slaves ( enemy tribes) to the Black slave trader that then four hands down sold to the white men at port!

LOL! Please. What money and credit has been stolen off of blacks today. You have proof that money and credit is being stolen from blacks today? In case you weren't aware, the blacks today are not slaves, and have not suffered on any plantation, have not suffered building any railroad.

How do you give money and credit to a dead person? The only people who had money and credit stolen from them, and who were made to work as slaves, are dead. You do realize what year this is, right?

Yeah, after they brought slavery to its worst incarnation-chattel slavery-and made sure they used the concept of slavery to the furthest degree. Before chattel slavery, slaves were treated as slaves, but at least had their human dignity intact and were treated decently compared to chattel slaves, and they also had a shot at upward mobility. On the other hand, chattel slaves were treated as nothing but property and thus had no chance of mobility, and were treated awfully and inhumanly. I'm not excusing slavery in any form, but chattel slavery was certainly the worst form of slavery.

And Arabs didn't start slavery, it had been around for a looooong time. The Spartans had slaves, for example. Slavery was probably around since the beginning of human existence-after all, who wouldn't like someone doing their work for them at no cost?
