Well then, please educate me some more. What percentage of slave owners were black and what percentage of slave owners were white in the USA? After slavery ended, was it black or white people who created institutional racism at the local and state level in Southern states and other areas around the country?

As do I. I hate racist whites too, in fact I hate any format of racism. I wish the word "race" would just disappear and we would only see each other as fellow human beings. I want to live in a color blind society where it literally doesn't matter what your skin color is and no one even pays attention to it.
However this is why I disliked black history month (and all history months) because it does the exact opposite of that, it divides people into groups and makes people feel different. It doesn't teach history as history, it teaches to remain separate and never truly equal as everyone else.
