As pundits pondered whether calling George Zimmerman a “white a** cracker” was
a racial epithet, black mob violence in other parts of the country proceeded apace
last week, almost unnoticed.
In Niagara Falls, a black mob of 20 attacked a mother and her family on a picnic.
They hurled racial slurs and told them they did not like their “Puerto Rican (expletive)
music.”
Two people were arrested.
Just a few hours earlier a few hundred miles away in Pittsburgh, a mob of black
people “savagely beat” a white teenager, then stole his shoes. All on video. All the while screaming “World Star. World Star, ” apparently a reference to popular hip hop
website that often features videos of black-mob violence.

For the pundits to ponder whether "white a** cracker" is a racial epithet is sort of odd, considering the amount of time a white person would be concerned about it, especially, someone who doesn't even think of himself as white. Zimmerman thought he was hispanic, which is ironic: kill a black person and become white. What a country!
Incidents of black-on-white crime seldom make national news unless it is very high profile to being with--such as the OJ Simpson case.
The same could be said of the reverse situation. Remember, what Zimmerman did wasn't even considered a crime by his local police force. That's not unusual, especially from a historical perspective.
The black community as a whole is in tatters. The World Star Hip Hop attitude and lifestyle are what will keep another generation of young black people away from success, and keep stereotypes alive. I lost all respect for a hip hop group I had enjoyed when I found they affiliated with that trash.

Wrong again. The Zimmerman shooting was instant headline news. How much have you heard about the guy who recently died from a beating at the hands of four black teens? White on black crime is way more publicized. Please don't bore us with examples from 40+ years ago just because you are wallowing in white guilt.

But many blacks including martin saw him as a cracker likely. Kind of like many other races calling all blacks african americans which many will correct you quickly if called that.
