Didn't we draw enough lines in the sand in Iraq and Afghanistan?? Some people want to bankrupt this country. Defense and VA spending is about 800 billion per year. Add the deficit on to that and you are talking real money. How anybody can even be thinking about getting into another war half way around the world is beyond me.
The U.S. military has updated options for a forceful intervention in Syria to give President Barack Obama a range of choices should he decide to deepen American involvement in a civil war where new claims surfaced this week about possible chemical weapons use by the regime.
$17,000,000,000,000 in debt, no problem; let's start WW III.
Obama isn't my guy. But there is a weird fawning over Putin on some recent threads. Mostly by professed right wingers. Which, even to you, must seem a tad odd?
I have a problem with people who assume they know a poster's party affiliation. How do you know "everyone" who thinks Putin is strong and Obama is weak is a right winger? I don't see anyone declaring their party affiliation, other than stating an opinion.
I'm neither left or right, and I think Obama's biggest weakness is his inability to lead. He has screwed up so many things inside the US and internationally.
I get that. But maybe second thoughts are sometimes a good thing. In a perfect world Obama wouldn't have said line in the sand. But he did.
Obama should have learned about second thoughts years ago, rather than clucking like a chicken and making declarations without thinking a situation through.
Presidents don't get "oops, I shouldn't have said that" or "oops, I shouldn't have done that" moments. A president is expected to stand by his word. The only time Obama stood by his word is when it served his voting base and his agenda. Aside from that, his word is worthless.
You see, Obama knows Putin is a man of his word, as is Jinping, that is why Obama hasn't defied them when they told him to stay out of Syria. I don't think Russia and China think Obama's words or warnings have much substance.

Whomever you are, whatever "side" you're on, it must be weird that right wingers are praising Putin. I don't know if you are right wing, left wing, or neither.
I find it hilarious-the right wing bromance with Putin . I guess any party that hangs on the words of the pants crapper Nugent - has cast their nets pretty wide

He did by voting "present" to get out of any hard decisions.
That doesn't work when you are President though.
Another traitorous American bowing to his Dear Leader, the thug, gangster and international criminal Putin.
Putin was/is KGB, he is a left over from the old Soviet Union and cannot be trusted.
