Afghans, 16 of whom died. He pled guilty to avoid the death penalty. Families traveled 7000 miles to testify and are not satisfied. They want the death penalty and I don't blame them. He never admitted to why he did this. I think there is more to the story, and that he didn't work alone. There were witnesses that there was a group of soldiers, not just one.
Another coverup. I'm not satisfied either. These people are not our enemy. This AP story paints a picture of a soldier under stress that was angry because he didn't get a promotion. Are we supposed to feel sorry for this murderer, that makes our country look even worse than we already do?
When it comes to this gov't, truth doesn't seem to matter anymore, or it's a crime to tell it.
