They are product of their environment but many want to blame "whitey", that's baloney at least sas far racism goes. While well intentioned it's liberal social policies that have destroyed the fabric of black communities. These policies are not helping people, they are helping them dig a hole.
These issues need to be solved by the black community and the black community needs to get rid of people like Al Sharpton that only fuel racism and continue to tell them that "whitey" is the source of their problems. They need to find black leaders who are leaders instead of blamers.
Actually it can pretty much be narrowed down to those who are not employed, not in school, and not married.
We can narrow it down the inner city youth that have no fathers, no education and have grown up in an environment where violence is the norm. They don't know any other life other than the few blocks they grow up on.
3% of the population commits 1/2 the murders, what's the deal here and how is this accepted?
The only upside to this very unfortunate statistic is that overwhelmingly, they are murdering other young black males. Perhaps one day the replacement rate will fall below the murder rate and everyone will be better off for it. Just sayin'
You might quote some rape, robbery and burglary statistics while you are at it, for a more comprehensive picture of the problem.
How many of these gang bangers have 10, 20 or 50 murders to their credit? FYI the peeception that mass murders are committed only by whites is incorrect. While there is higher incidence in the white community it's not that much higher.

Again you need to look at percentages and in the black populations it far outweighs those in the white population, it's like 2 or 3 times as high.

Of the offenders for whom race was known, 52.4 percent were black, 45.2 percent were white, and 2.4 percent were of other races. The race was unknown for 4,077 offenders.
If the black population equaled the white population and the amount of murders would increase equally we would have about 40,000 murders committed by blacks compared to about 5,000 committed by whites.
I don't really care what others feel, just the way i am, have my own mind. I don't accept killings by anyone who takes the life of an innocent person. I don't care who they are, or where they come from, makes no differnence to me.
Killing is wrong plain and simple, and today in our society, so many think it is the easy way to take someone out just simply murder them.
To many innocent children, teens, men and women are being killed for no reason. When you have a baby that is shot in the face, while in the stroller, personally don't care what any of you think, that is a disguting sick evil person. No matter who is commiting murders is wrong. Black or white, or whoever pulls the damn trigger.

I wonder if there is a study that has been conducted to find out where these crimes are committed. For example, are crimes mostly committed in big urban areas, rural, or somewhere in between?
Let's be honest. I'm Black and it troubles me the ills present in a SMALL MINORITY of the Black population and their negative effects on society as a whole. It troubles me even more when White Repub/Con try to scare decent folks that all, a majority or the Black person that lives down the street is out to kill you because you are White.
