Obama, please stay OUT of Syria. If you MUST choose a side in the ever-warring Miuslim factions, then choose the one who treats it's Christian minority the best - that would be the Assad side. The Al Qaeda led 'rebels' have already burned many churches and killed many Christians. This is NOT our war, and we certainly should not be helping Christian-killers.

"Navy warship deploys to region as Obama mulls military strike against Syria

WASHINGTON — U.S. naval forces are moving closer to Syria as President Obama considers military options for responding to the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Assad government. The president emphasized that a quick intervention in the Syrian civil war was problematic, given the international considerations that should precede a military strike.

According to reports by Barnabas Aid, a relief agency assisting Syrian Christians, the forced Christian exodus from Homs has been ongoing since the beginning of February when armed Islamists murdered more than 200 Christians, “including entire families with young children.”

At that time a representative of Barnabas Aid pleaded, “Christians are being forced to flee the city to the safety of government-controlled areas. Muslim rebel fighters and their families are taking over their homes.”

The US says they have proof the chemical weapons were used by the government.
The US is just waiting for the UN to give the go ahead to invade, like they did with Libya.

The UNSC wont approve a damn thing, first of all. Second, the Syrian government has evisencs the rebels have used chemical weapons at least twice.

I wonder which side our media took....

As for the OP, why are Christian lives and churches so much more valuable than other people or buildings?

Obama and Hillary -- the big promoters of their Arab Spring ought to both go over there and vacation but leave the rest of Americans out of this.

Yep; Russia will block it. I think its because its Ops belief which Op is entitled to. Same as some see Embassy attacks/US personnel as different calling for different actions or gassing rather than shooting as different.

The US doesn't have a dog in this fight and it would be wise to act accordingly. Muslims killing Muslims sounds like a win for us not matter how it goes. It's not like one side likes us any more than the other and can be depended on to act like civilized humans in the future.

I would not advocate staying out from any sense of fear, but simply let it run it's course to our greatest advantage and act when the time is appropriate, which is certainly not now. It's not our battle.

I have never claimed that Christian lives are more important than non-Christian lives - all lives are important to God, but it is a fact that they are currently undergoing severe persecution by Muslims, who do not regard a Christian life to be important at all.
