Each new revelation makes me think back to the FBI telling us they couldn't keep up an ongoing investigation into the Boston bombers without any proof because it would have violated their civil liberties.

Why not start by putting on trial those who committed the abuses NSA acknowledges? It's a start. Do it twice and problem solved.

We are constantly told by the government that this kind of thing isn't happening, can't happen or only a few rouge operators are doing it and it is on their own.

Funny how every time a similar statement to this is made, an "incident" shows up debunking what the government says.

Does anyone actually believe what the government says is going on or that they actually limit their own actions? They never admit the truth about what they are doing so the song goes on.

Well gee, don't worry. The WH appointed their people to an "independent council" that will look over this NSA stuff and tell us not to worry.

And as Obama said.."It's just a moderate infringement on your rights".
