Not just any tax, you are going to need to pay state sales tax, which can be as high as 10%, federal tax of 50%, another federal approval to buy at a flat fee of $500 plus a 1 year wait.
So you 1k kayak now costs $2,100 and requires a one year wait till you can own it.
Well if that is what the majority vote for and I want to kayak, I am gonna pay that price...much like if you want to shoot a gun you will still pay that price no matter what.
I have never paid a tax on any gun I own. That includes 4 fully automatic rifles. Only the gun manufacturers pay that tax,(that is who the government goes after if they don't pay up) when they sell a gun, and they pass that price on to the consumer. I have never bought a new gun, ever. The majority of my guns, were handed down generations.
I pay no sales tax on my brass & reloading needs either, it comes from out of state.

Well of course you aren't going to pay taxes on guns that are handed down. The gun was handed down, not sold to you for a price.

So what do you do with taxes that are passed that you don't support? We know there are taxes out there that you don't like, do you still just pay them or do you fight back and refuse to pay those taxes? It is one thing to act like you are so defiant of the government, it is much different to actually act on it.
I never said anything about the government taking care of me, this is about taxes and nothing more.
Is it all Democrats who propose this or just some of them? I'd hate to think they're all stupid.
