Intelligent people refer to mistakes in history.

If this goes to a vote it will not pass, they couldn't pass a cure for cancer in this congress at any rate they should at least wait for confirmation from the UN inspectors, something we missed in the past.

Yes, it could take a long time until UK fully trusts US again after the Iraq experience. They supported us in Libya, but of course UK has a lot of oil contracts in Libya.

I think we have lost a lot of international trust in the past few years and the distrust in the US towards it's own government is growing.

It seems like everybody else let cooler heads prevail but the commander in douche is all gung ho on dropping bombs without really thinking anything through. This isn't like playing Special Ops, you potato head.
I do have a rather dark vision of Obama riding a bomb dropped on Syria waving his cowboy hat and yelling " Yeeha!" rodeo style.

We lost it in 2003 to be exact.

You are irrational with Obama-love.

Obama is not leading.

Chemical weapons were first used months ago...Obama is getting dragged into it in a bewildered stupor.

This is the exact quote ....

“Isn’t the real reason we’re here today, is not because of the horror of these weapons and the horror exists – but because the American president foolishly drew a red line and because of his position now, he’s going to attack or face humiliation?” asked Labour MP Paul Flynn during a raucous Thursday debate closely monitored by the White House.
