UK parliament is very sceptical about the Syria mission, and they state the Iraq scandal as the reason. In US 80% of the people say the WH should get Congress approval before pulling the trigger. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

If this goes to a vote it will not pass, they couldn't pass a cure for cancer in this congress at any rate they should at least wait for confirmation from the UN inspectors, something we missed in the past.

Declassified intelligence? The same kind of "declassified" intelligence that was released about Benghazi? Would it also include a memo revised numerous times until they got the right narrative?

I do have a rather dark vision of Obama riding a bomb dropped on Syria waving his cowboy hat and yelling " Yeeha!" rodeo style.
A British MP was shown saying that the foolish American president made a stupid comment about a red line and Britain doesn't need to wage war to keep him from losing face.

“Isn’t the real reason we’re here today, is not because of the horror of these weapons and the horror exists – but because the American president foolishly drew a red line and because of his position now, he’s going to attack or face humiliation?” asked Labour MP Paul Flynn during a raucous Thursday debate closely monitored by the White House.
