I've already grown tired of the Obama/Holder show. These two are honestly pathetic.
But can someone -- in logical, rational terms -- tell me why this is such a big deal? Don't we WANT to know that who is casting the vote is who they say they are, and is here legally, so we can ensure clean results? Or is that exactly what Obama is afraid of?
After the last 4 presidential elections, I'm starting to lose what little faith I had in the whole process to begin with.
Some don't care whether the voter is a citizen of that state as long as the person votes for a Democrat and votes often.
I think there is a high possibility North Carolina's last two presidential elections were decided by people who are not citizens of our state. Citizens of North Carolina need to be the people choosing our representatives, not college students who are legal residents of other states AND citizens of Mexico.
As one person said recently, the only person who would not want the voter to be able to show an ID is someone that is up to something illegal.
The decision of the Supreme Court was to invalidate the requirement for automatic preclearance for changes in voting laws and procedures in certain jurisdictions. It did not say that there could never be a court review of changed procedures in the event of violations of the Voting Rights Act.
Roberts gave Southern racists a lot in Shelby County, but he didn't give them everything.
You beat me to it. It seems that the right-wing media has no other tool in their arsenal other than deceiving their readers into believing lies, to support their corrupted agenda.

Hispanics are the majority in most cities? That is quite a bold claim to be making, I am sure you can back that up.
In Texas the answer is yes. The Hispanics in San Antonio don't want to be in Doggett's district because they want their own Hispanic representative and Doggett is too popular.
The Dems are fighting among themselves over ethnic representation.
