I remember when Bush was in office, the liberals were constantly criticizing him for his aggressive stance towards Middle Eastern countries & North Korea as well as he decision to deploy drones to slaughter suspects and civilians abroad without trial. Let's also not forget Bush's support of the PATRIOT ACT, FISA, unconstitutional mass NSA surveillance, and indefinite detention.

Now that Obama is in office and is threatening Syria, deploying drones to slaughter suspects and civilians abroad without trial, renewed the PATRIOT ACT, FISA, NDAA, and supports unconstitutional mass NSA surveillance, I wonder how liberals can live with themselves.

Do tell me why, liberals, it's now acceptable to support Obama's decisions on the PATRIOT ACT, FISA, NDAA, and unconstitutional mass NSA surveillance...

Time for popcorn. You know that all you've done is poke a stick in a hornets nest of deflection and irrational logic? I need some butter.

Ooh, a first time poster on C-D with yet another "hey libs explain this" post. I wonder who he was yesterday.

But on topic: support and opposition for drone attacks and NSA spying crosses party lines.

Half of Democrats are against drone attacks

May 2013 - Support for drone attacks:
Republicans: 79%
Democrats: 55%

Cindy Sheehan is still protesting. What happened to the media coverage?

Republicans only talk about smaller government when there is a Democrat Prez. Democrats only talk anti-war when a Republican is Prez.

Congratulations, you've managed to erect 2 strawmen within 1 relatively short post.

Let me set you straight on a couple of things: (1) Supporting some of Obama's positions, or having voted for him, does not obligate anyone to support everything he does. Only totalitarian thinkers, like mindless GOTP drones, think that way. (2) Not all liberals support Obama. Your apparent belief to the contrary is just plain wrong. Obama has many, many detractors on his left. Which you'd know if you'd only bothered to read the many, many threads on this same topic here in which this fact has been pointed out repeatedly.
