I believe Kerry announced that on Thursday the US will provide proof, which will be telephone intercepts, that it was the Assad regime that used chemicals. I wonder if this will be the same proof that the UK claims to have. Why is the US sitting on proof and waiting to release it???

I wonder how the US missed these telephone intercepts.

Phone Intercept proves "Terrorists used Chemical Weapons in Homs" | nsnbc international

Who is to say that these telephone intercepts aren't the creation of someone who needs to show "proof" to justify their actions or refute them?

Maybe the UK, the US, and Russia (who also claims to have proof it was the rebels) need to bring their proof, other than telephone intercepts, before the UN. Will they all have tape recordings?? Would that be their proof?

Syria and the US claim to have tapes, how can the US determine what is true and what isn't?

I found this interesting (dated July 7):

Quote:
New Opposition Leader, Saudi-Arabia – based, “Independent” Ahmed Assi Jaber endorsed by U.S. State Department. Reports about increased insurgent activities in Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan and Golan indicate new political and military campaign against Syria in August and September 2013.

An nsnbc source with close ties to the intelligence service of a Syria – based Palestinian faction reports, that there are strong indications for a preparation of a renewed military campaign against Syria in August or September 2013, and that it is highly probable, that Western, Arab and Israeli Forces will be playing an active role. The current, relative calm in Syria is reportedly deceptive and tied to attempts to increase the different insurgents forces and militia´s interoperability, communication, and the attempt to build a more centralized command and liaison structure.

No thanks, I'd rather support the (mostly) indigenous syrian rebels fighting for their freedom from a 40-year inherited assad kingdom in their time of need, even if because of our awful president, we are so late to the game. Especially if it hurts iran and hezbollah.
No way, this is a huge waste. Once we overthrow these dictators, jihadists take over. Also could possibly start ww3.

The situation is confused over there and there doesn't seem to be anybody to support. Plus we really can't be sure of whats going on and who did what. Lets face it, we don't exactly have our best and our brightest in charge State Department wise.

What is pathetic, though, is that the anti-war crowd has largely done silent since Bush has left office when there is just as much war or potential wars.
Black American Politics in the 21st Century: Is It Time For A New Plan? | Black Agenda Report

the US does not have a “foreign policy,” it has an empire. Maintaining and extending that empire is the “foreign policy.”

Empires are horrendously expensive. For what it costs to run the war in Afghanistan for an hour or two, you could plug all the budget holes in the transit system of Philadelphia, or Atlanta, or Chicago or Califorina's BART, or fully fund the school systems in a half dozen cities the size of Macon or Birmingham or Hartford or Oklahoma City. An entire day of war funding would plug all the holes in a medium sized state budget

We don't have the money to fight the fires in Yosemite, but we can bomb Syria and Iran.

not any different then all conflict outcome in severe in-human consequence can be nothing but a representation of in-human involvement in the conflict.

the real problem in these things is a human race that cannot organize itself enough to avoid these in-human ends. The poison gas or mass killing bomb is only a package that says....we cannot do it. We are incapable of surviving outside of the instinctive manner of choice and cannot manage the given aware capability.

therefore without buckling down and gathering the greatest force's together immediately in first response, and in clear attention of this as a response to the ones fighting, that a full force has had it, its a waste of time. So heres what to do.

Make the broadcast all three powers are getting together and insist a break in all warring, followed by a global and territory air show representing 5 or so of the greatest military force's including drones ready to obliterate any disobedience or active warring...then figure it out...put in charge and put in jail as however planned and mutually agreed...Russia and China need to be agreed with and some terms accepted...thats life, getting along or guess what? bing-go. The poorest always suffer first for the inabilities of the collective global leaders. Or its just more games, plain and simple so there really shouldn't be anything interesting or surprising. The world needs a mental lift like no tom and theres other things to do.

If global leaders cannot get organized with something like this it is a very bad sign. That is the issue. The three should be meeting personally and making it known. A corner needs to be turned at now and it should be a very dramatic showing...unity always works, its a rule and requires sacrifice.

Other then that, as it is the human race requires a huge powerful alien force to manage the zombie species, so the leaders can chew on that. Politely speaking as usual.

uhm

try again

you might be interested in the progressive liberal brzezinski's "the grand chessboard"

"The Grand Chessboard" dissipates any doubt: The US is to dominate all Eurasia. Then American high finance would in effect be in control of 70 percent of the oil and gas reserves - in order to secure American primacy for a long time. With Obama as a puppet of the Trilateral Commission, Zbigniew Brzezinski and David Rockefeller see this goal within reach.

it PREDATES(before) the PNAC

Uh... can you say Libya? He started bombing the snot out of Gaddafi by executive order.

.........zzzzz

The human condition has no desire to organize for anything other than self-interest. The strong kill the weak in all of nature, and if you view us as animals, we are the best example. Top of the food chain with the ability to throw a spear, or launch a nuclear weapon.

Those in power only care about maintaining, or increasing, that power.

In the flower child world of the progressive liberal (sheep); who has been indoctrinated (brain-washed) from birth to believe they are smarter, wiser, more tolerant, more rational. and simply better, than the "other side" which is anyone who doesn't agree with them completely. These useful idiots further the whims of their masters without questioning a thing. These are the people who call Ron Paul and his followers "dim", the Taxed Enough Already Party "racists", constitutional patriots "terrorists", second amendment backers "murderers", pro-lifer's "women haters", heterosexuals "homophobes"...and themselves "rational".

They hated GW Bush for the very things Obama is doing on a grand scale. They ignore Obama's codification of EVERYTHING Bush did wrong, and more. If he get's us involved in this war, it only proves he's a war monger and a puppet to his corporate masters.

Useful idiots will continue to be both useful, and idiotic.

And narrow minded, bigoted cretins who post endless sophomoric snippets, prove us right all the time, consistently.

Its been 1000's of years now that man has understood the requirements of power in a suggestion. In modern times effective marketing must recognize these requirements or loose the sale.

1) Present the problem along with a suggestion of the reasons for the problem.
2) Provide a solution which address's the issue and also att to, the faulty reasoning responsible for the problem.
3) If possible give the customer choice's in like solutions. ( that way the customer doesn't feel pressured and believes he or she is following the reasoning alone, and thus can take personal credit for wise thinking instead of handing it all over to the pitch. Its the un-spoken representation of respect given(choice) and respect understood. ( power).

All you did is agree insult with blah blah blah....(contradiction) and close your brief case, walk out and show no interest to begin with, with zero solution or fine tuning to the suggestion. So what this means is there is nothing to suggest there is any interest re the suggested believed problem at all.
