FBI, superiors, anyone? Weve read reports that there were some pretty clear signs that Hassan was bad news, yet nothing was done. Most likely due to Political correctness. If I were family of the victims or surviving victims, I would demand justice.
If I were family of the victims or surviving victims, I would want to regard the memory of my loved one without getting wrapped up in trying to find a scapegoat for my pain.
Hind-sight is always 20/20. The question is whether any person did something explicitly incorrect - something that no reasonable person, given the information that they had in their own possession, would have done. If that kind of person exists, then clearly someone should lose their job for such a gross error. Most likely, though - since that's the most common situation in cases like this - it was the system that failed, in some previously unforeseeable way. Holding a system accountable means changing the system to prevent recurrence. It doesn't feed blood-lust, but it is the responsible and rational reaction.
Can you provide some evidence of these really bad signs? I would like to see what you are referring to.
Plus what they were will give a better idea who could see them and is responsible.
