It seems that Canada has anti discrimination laws based on gender too. If the barber doesn't like it, he can close, or open a members only barber shop.
Totally disagree with the feminist. This is an old school barber shop. I go to such a shop all the time. I wouldn't get my hair cut at a "beauty salon". Last time I went to a similar place to get my hair cut, the women looked at me like I was crazy when I said I wanted #2 clippers on the sides and neck and about #4 or #5 clippers on top. Say that at a barber shop and they'll zip through the cut real quick while having guy type conversations.
If I were the barber, I would just have given her a men's haircut.

I have no opinion about the sexuality issue either way, but I strongly believe that a business has the right to decide who they will give service to or not.
