Rush Limbaugh isn't trying to be a comedian.

Yes he is a serious commentator, presents both sides of the story.

Yes, I am a curious relic of a bygone era. However, I look forward to the day when it will be liberals who are the curious relics instead.

See, the liberals here look to Europe as the model of what we should become. But over in Europe, where they have had liberalism for decades, conservatism is on the rise. Sure Europe is still filled with liberal welfare states, but the trend over there is on the conservative side. Conservatives won election in France, UK, and Germany. They've spoken out against multiculturalism. They've scaled back their taxes. They've complained about supporting Greece's welfare state.

We here are where they were at some decades ago - with smug liberals thinking themselves intellectually and morally superior to the backwards conservatives, secure in their knowledge that they know the one true way.

It just means that in a decade or two from now, we will be at where they are now - slowly realizing that liberalism isn't financially or culturally sustainable and beginning to reject political correctness and wealth redistribution to swing back towards sanity.

In my experience Jon Stewart is not the problem. I wish people watch more of Stewart, because he is not totally biased.

I think this is a lot more harmful

In that case they used wealth inequality for the US and income inequality for Sweden. If they had used wealth inequality, then Sweden would look similar to the US, because in all countries there are huge levels of wealth inequality. Its pretty much given as rich people save up a lot of money so they can invest, while others spend their income and save their income in housing which is not measured.

The problem is, dumb liberals who see this, will eat it raw.

You are not serious are you? Rush is a COMMENTATOR and John is a COMEDIAN and their shows supposely reflect that, well unless you find racism, sexism and homophobia funny

If u dont have conservative views or vote republican...you're brainwashed and unaware of what's really going on. That's the gist of this thread I'm assuming. There wouldn't be people like john stewart doing what they do if there wasn't a conservative platform in this country constantly and consistently providing them easy material. There isn't a conservative equivalent out there because the left is not out there saying bat sh*t crazy things. The conservative position has value just as the liberal one...we are a nation built upon compromise. ..but when u start making comments about gays or what constitutes rape that are so ridiculous and absurd..u lose credibility and become a joke to most level headed voters...conservatives are their own worst enemy

Unwavering liberals are brainwashed. So are members of the extreme religious right. Normal conservatives are not the religious right. There are plenty of wingnut idiots out there to laugh at.

Liberals concentrate more on how people think of them. Their image. Being cool. Conservatives don't usually care about those things. I am firmly convinced that a lot of people become liberals because they think it's not accepted by the cool people to be a conservative. Then there are blacks and Hispanics who are demo because they are brainwashed at an early age. That and they believe white liberals actually care about them.

Stewart is funny but he is extremely biased. These young hipsters hang on his every word. Would vote for him if he ran. stupid liberals.

That's true and he also pokes fun at the Administration. He makes fun of hypocrisy across party lines. This is Jon Oliver (Stewart's summer host) ripping Chris Matthews:
