The August 21 attack on Damascus should be easy to prove, if this is the case then why is France the only country backing us. The UN cannot move without Russia and China's approval so don't expect anything from them anytime soon but the international community seems to be indifferent to our charges, that may have a lot to do with our prior history.

I would like to see a vote in congress for our actions and if they decide to go, which I doubt will happen, they will be on record.

US Secretary of State John Kerry
has accused Syrian government forces of killing 1,429 people in a chemical
weapons attack in Damascus last week.

Mr Kerry said the dead included 426 children, and described the attack as an
"inconceivable horror".

President Barack Obama later said the US was considering a "limited narrow
act" in response.

Thurston Howell III descends from his yacht and Lovey long enough to declare that these 1429 are worthy of US missiles, while the other 99,871 killed in the ongoing civil war aren't worth talking about.

This is about O being miffed at Putin.

How many will we kill with rockets, bombs and drones?
Anyway, Kerry was already caught lying by using old footage of Iraqi fatalities and passing them of as syrian.

International aid agencies that helped have only reported 355 killed with others injured.
Where is this 1429 killed number coming from ?

Medical experts that viewed the videos commented that it doesn't seem like it would be military grade chemicals because the workers handling the victims were not wearing protective gear and did not get sick/die themselves.

Two AQ labs in Baghdad, Iraq were found and they were making mustard gas and sarin gas.
There was also a network in place to transport these gases to neighboring countries.

You're kidding, right?

They just installed their money man from the Arab Monetary Fund to head up Egypt. I'm sure they have a Syrian in one of their pockets somewhere.

Why are we SO indebted to them? I know they have a boat load of oil, but other counties have oil. WE have oil.

The death toll estimates were from the US.

Syria is one of several nations that have not signed a chemical weapons agreement and it is doubtful that the insurgents could have created the weapons or even deployed them. Some more details:

Quote:

Abu Omar, a member of the Damascus Media Office, an opposition group that
comprises activists and journalists, filmed from a rooftop less than five
miles from the scene of the attack another video that purportedly shows part
of the suspected chemical weapons strike.

The rockets that are believed to have carried chemical weapons were fired
from the direction in which the Syrian special forces are based, Abu Omar, who used a nom de guerre out of concern
for his family’s safety, said in a Skype interview on Friday.

A suspected chemical weapons site is located at Adra, a short distance from
where the rockets were launched
