The only predictable people in congress are the Libertarian leaners, like Rand Paul.

Honesty is always predictable.

The rest of them will vote however their corporate handlers tell them to.

I was laughing my behind off while looking at my FB news feed... People who support Obama talking about how nice it is of him to be doing this.

Goes to show how ignorant of the Constitution the people in this country are. They have no idea what that document is about. No wonder this country is going downhill.

In this case let's just save the cost, and let them kill each other.

The day Bush signed the "Patriot Act" the writing was on the wall. They (corporate politicians) knew they could get away with anything if it was named properly. It's hard to pass things like "The unaffordable healthcare act" or the "the unpatriotic act" or the "no defense for citizens authorization act"

Exactly! That was only the second time in 200 years that the House of Commons struck down a PM's call for war. Finally, cool heads are prevailing, though it was only 14 votes from passing.

Liberal leadership prefers that their constituents are ignorant. The dumber they are, the more apt they are to keep voting Liberal politicians into power.

That's Iraq. Do you have evidence of such in Syria, or evidence that rebel factions in Syria have benefited from AQ in Iraq?

How do you know we have no national interest there? Under what assumption do you make this claim?

About as much evidence as they have saying Assad owns those chemicals.

On Saturday, those treacherous crosscurrents were on vivid display in the Rose Garden. After two years of resisting deeper involvement in Syria, Mr. Obama finally decided to order a military strike — only to put his order on a shelf while he seeks Congressional approval.
