leaders who have used chemical weapons:

Kerry: Assad Joins Hitler, Saddam | National Review Online

Somewhere Dick Cheney is smiling.

As a commentator to that linked article states, Kerry has now pulled off a triple flip: he was for going to war with Saddam over WMD, then he was against it (Bush misled us), now he appears to be for war with Syria over WMD, using Saddam as an example to justify it.

Wait !!! Hold the presses --- the liberals absolutely condemned Bush for taking out Saddam Hussein.

Watch them flip and then watch them flop.

Wait..we were told this was not about taking out Assad but "sending a small message not to use chemical weapons".

Did anyone tell Kerry that Obama backed off and went to play golf ?

I wasn't aware of many Americans who ever denied that Saddam used chemical weapons against the Kurds in the 1980s? Who were these folks and precisely did this apply in 2003?

Lefties will never admit that the war in Iraq was anything but Bush lying.

No matter how much evidence is presented.

As to the latter question, recall UN security resolution 1441 from 2002:

Ummm... No one said Saddam never used chemical weapons. He used them on the Kurds.

What was disputed was that when we used the "fact" that he had them when we invaded the second time we were WRONG.

At the time of the second invasion he was in fact complying with the UN.
