You can't complain about violence and corruption until your willing to do something about it. YOU.

Probably the most corrupt group in the country. Highest incarceration rates in the world. Prison for profit. Fine for profit. Violate your rights for profit.

Our legal system will harass and arrest marijuana users but won't touch bankers caught stealing billions and corporations practicing in malicious fraudulent behavior.

That's our effed up American morals.

The officers should be prosecuted. Not for murder, but for misconduct, excessive force... A man died.

Why couldn't they just handcuff the dude and bring him in. All of what the cops did was unnecessary and now the guy is dead.

I am sure whoever called thought he was being a danger to himself, problem is by calling the police they signed his death warrant.

The best way to create a dangerous situation these days is to contact the police. They will show up with a cadre of steroid abusing cops dressed up in their full "tactical" outfits armed to the teeth. At a minimum, a dog is going to die. It has become almost standard procedure for someone to get hurt or killed anytime the police respond to a call now.

Nobody in their right mind wants a police officer to ever be near them or their family.

I am a strong supporter or the police and cringe when people throw around the term police brutality like it's nothing, but this is unacceptable. I don't understand how the police can mess up a situation like this. More and more people need to start filming and standing up for their rights. Finally, discipline against police officers who are involved in this crap needs to be stiffer.

Here's one scenario that just went down in Austin.

Naked guy holed up in his garage..police had been after him and got tipped off.

Swat team shows up along with urban assault vehicle and they flash banged the garage.

A lone naked guy is going to have a hard time concealing any weapons.
Oh and the Swat team looked more like the military with their masks on, guns and shields ready to go after this lone naked guy.

I'd post the video directly but there's brief nudity in it (guy's butt).

We voted for law and order - 3 strikes, mandatory minimums, etc.

You get the government you vote for - don't pretend like it's out of control - it is entirely in our control.
