Hmmm

You're right.

Irony is that the president is using taxpayer dollars to promote something in Africa that he is actively suppressing in the United States, and calling people names who are promoting that very thing.”

Kenyan law requires that all citizens have the national ID cards before they are allowed to register to vote. The US government gave the Kenyan government $53 million to help fund a program called ‘My ID My Life.’ The program assists the younger generation to obtain National identification cards.

So how does Obama and his cronies justify paying millions of dollars, that we don’t have, to help Kenyans get ID cards that are necessary for voter registration while at the same time legally challenging similar programs and laws here in the US?

I just wish that the US, as well as all western nations would just realize that certain parts of the world that are populated by certain people are simpy not savable. IE you could pour unlimited funds into trying to help them for decades on end and the results would be marginal at best.

I'd rather we just cut our losses and leave in these areas and put our time and resources into other parts of the world where funding would make more an impact because the people in those countries aren't nearly as messed up and hopeless as much of Africa and the Mideast is.

Ever hear of Live Aid? It was an international concert that brought in a huge fortune in cash and supplies for Africa. The warlords and dictators in Africa got very wealthy from that concert. In the 1990s President Clinton sent in US Marines to distribute food and try to protect it from those warlords and dictators. Big mistake and wasted effort. Learn from the mistakes of the past. Don't repeat them. Subsahara Africa needs to take care of themselves and evolve or continue to live worse than animals.
