Not here in Dallas, they had demonstrations here last week by American Syrians and guess what they agree with punishing Syria for their crimes against humanity. Not to worry, the President will get his approval and do what is needed, and I for one am glad he is putting Congress on the spot to giving their ok.
Sadly, the 300,000 American Syrians are now being scrutinized by government. The government thinks that there may be some Assad supporters who might want to retaliate. Sure, that's why they fled Syria under Daddy and Junior Assad and are living in the US.
I didn't read the thread. Hillary Clinton isn't in public office, and she doesn't have access to the intelligence information that the adminstration has. WHY would any reasonable person start ranting about a problem like Syria without having the information needed to create an intelligent response? If she did start talking about it, it would be a problem, and I would seriously question her credibility. Once more information comes out, we'll see what she says.
The things people say and think it doesn't apply to them.
But remember, the process of choosing the President of the United States has devolved into a high school popularity contest, as evidenced by your very own posts. So if you think that a nice smile is a better qualification than decades of experience in the senate, or looking good with your shirt off at the beach is better than a proven track record of turning around bad economic situations, then I guess in your own mind, you're right.
Not in the minds of the rest of us. People knew that both McCain and Romney were better qualified. There is absolutely no dispute about that. If you want to continue to pursue your insane point of view, please, list the accomplishments that Obama had achieved by the time he was elected which qualified him to be POTUS. Please - I'm begging you. Do it if only for the sheer entertainment value.

Well --- take a look at those Chechnyan "refugees" that fled their country and hated Americans with so much passion that they meant to kill and maim as many as they could at that Boston Marathon.
And --- why can't the refugees go back and fight their own country's battles? Freedom isn't free and maybe it's time Syrians and others stop expecting Americans to do their fighting and dying for them?
Hillary doesn't care anything about this. She wants her foundation to still break laws and make them rich and hope that the USA would want the first female President the way they upended her to give us the first incompetant black President.
She's dirty, but the American public are so lazy it doesn't matter as much any more.

I see no point in bringing in refugees that cannot assimilate into American culture and that will only end up killing Americans.
Maybe the cowards shouldn't run from the fights for their own country. Let them stand up and do something for their countries. I certainly don't see sending Americans in when refugees only run.
