"Don't condemn a whole group of people for the actions of a madman", despite the fact that almost all terrorist attacks are executed by Muslims.
On the other hand , when a madman goes on a shooting spree because he is overmedicated, the reaction of the liberals is to want to condemn all gun owners through feel good legislation.
Hm, you complain that "liberals" allegedly throw all gun owners into the same hat? And you do so by throwing all "liberals" into the same hat? Does that seem even slightly ironic to you?
Aside from that, I have not seen, read, or heard a majority of "liberals" proclaim that gun owners should be condemned. For starters, I understand that many "liberals" are gun owners themselves.
Secondly, there is a fundamental difference between condemning a entire demographic and condemning a tool. You know, one is human, the other is not. What I have seen is that some "liberals" do the latter - they argue that guns are a problem, not that gun owners are. They argue that guns ought to be restricted, not that gun owners should be profiled while they run their daily activities.
I also do understand that many conservative gun owners seemingly perceive such an attack regardless of what is said - that's why there is the distinction of "responsible gun owner." One of the short-comings of this perception is, of course, that a gun owner MUST be a conservative...
In other words, this is nothing but whining for whining's sake.

Why the hypocrisy?
When a nut job goes off and kills and abortion doctor and when some Christians protest at military funerals the Cons say do not judge all right-to-lifers or Christians based on those nuts.
When a Muslim commits and act that is disgusting the Cons say round em all up and deport them, even if their families have been here for generations.
Yes, why the hypocrisy?
Oh yea, and the best excuse is when they bring up the very very very few Christian terrorist attacks such as the Oklahoma bombing to marginalize Christianty.

Please supply quotes of anybody actually condemning ALL gun owners as you allege.
Laws are to punish the madmen who do go off.
Do you also believe murder laws condemn ALL people because they exist?

That was anti-government motives, nothing to do with religion.
Sounds like "they" are trying to dupe you as well.
