So far it's been a bunch of even more rhetoric and catch phrases, once again.

It was claimed this would "come out" today, what happened?
Just another leading us on.

McCain wasn't the Republican voter's choice in 2008, he was the choice of the press and Democratic party voters who voted in the Republican primary in states with open primary systems.

McCain won your Party's nomination, of which only Republicans vote. If open primaries were such a problem, the GOP could change the rule. If Democrats were voting in the RNC primary, they would have selected an extreme right-winger, like Santorum, instead of a centrist McCain.

Or not vote for a progressive and former Democrat.

Wow, such ignorance! I suggest you do some research.
Open primaries in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For example, in the 2008 presidential primaries, exit polls say John McCain failed to win a single race among Republican voters, up to Super Tuesday, yet during that same period he went from also-ran to front runner, because most non-Republicans who crossed over voted for him. In New Hampshire, Mitt Romney won among registered Republicans, but John McCain won overall [1]. Likewise, in South Carolina, Mike Huckabee won among self-identified Republicans, but John McCain won the state [2].

No. I still see you people as a bunch of hand wringing cry baby's. Maybe you'll get over it one of these days.

OP spews a lot of ignorance.

He would hate Obama if he were able to fly into Syria like Superman and get rid of Assad himself.

I see no reason why Obama shouldn't take a thoughtful approach on this matter. Why should it make me happy if he just went in guns ablazin like W? You think that's a better approach?

I'm guessing there IS a plan and it's a damn sight better that what you've got.

McCain wanted to support the secular nationalist rebels about two years ago, Obama did nothing.

McCain, Feb 2012:

Right now we should be finding ways to help the people who are being slaughtered as we speak,” McCain said on CNN. “The massacre goes on, artillery [shelling] — there’s no legitimacy left in the Assad regime. So we can work with other countries to provide assistance in a broad variety of ways.

For us to sit by and watch this massacre and allow Russia and China to their everlasting shame veto resolutions in the United Nations Security Council is not acceptable. There are many things that we can achieve … and we ought to get about it quickly to stop this massacre
."
