No, I disagree with that big time. There are many people, including McCain, I will add and people like and Diane Finstien, who have their heads on straight way past 65, but 75 plus? it is time to get out. I also doubt this had anything to do with his age. Let me add, I am anything but a McCain supporter.
You do realize that Dianne Feinstein is 80 years old, right? She's well beyond her expiration date as an elected official.
And regardless of who has their heads on straight -- and most politicians don't, no matter their age -- there needs to be a mandatory retirement age.
If U.S. pilots have to retire at age 65, then politicians should, too. If a pilot fails, 300 people or less are in trouble. Politicians endanger 300 million people, daily.
