I think a lot of people want to say what places the POTUS's credibility on the line - no that's not it - they simply want to declare by personal fiat, that the POTUS doesn't have credibility, because they're upset that they aren't getting their way in life and that frustration is trumping their rational logic. The reality is that every day every administration gains and loses credibility based on its successes and failures. In this case, the POTUS is sharing responsibility for America's decision regarding attacking Syria with Congress. Many people feel that he was obligated to; many people feel that the POTUS could have acted unilaterally; but no reasonable person believes that the POTUS should always attack foreign nations deliberately keeping Congress out of it.
The world needs to forget that Obama drew that line and told everyone ?
Is this like the mandatory cuts he didn't make Congress commit to ?
Is this like the promise our health insurance would go down 3000% that he didn't say ?
Unlike many other Americans, I have a good memory.
It seems as if righties do not process deeper thoughts than Drill Baby Drill. The world and the US government has made it perfectly clear that using WMDs is Not acceptable, so the President is right. Now back to the whining.
He never had any to begin with therefore he had nothing to loose. I am ashamed and embarrassed by this baffoon. Electing a President based purely on skin color and not ability is a complete and total failure. He also has some very serious mental health issues that need to be addressed. I can't believe inm saying this but I really do hope he gets the help he needs before he has a mental breakdown.
