"On her way to the car, the bag broke and one of the cans of La Choy fell on her right foot, breaking her big toe and causing a deep cut, the lawsuit says. William Freis’ attorney, Gage Cobb, said that led to an infection."

So, why did the deep cut lead to infection? Didn't they take proper care of it? If I were on the jury, I would want to see ALL the medical records of this woman. Apparently, somebody didn't give proper medical care. That certainly isn't walmart or the bag manufacturer's fault!

They should appreciate getting free plastic bags in grocery stores because many European nations ban them, or you have to pay for every plastic bag.

She should have brought her own bags and reduced plastic waste. Or better yet, bag your own items.

We have a few of those re-usable bags that you can buy which stays in the car. Go shopping, bring in the groceries, put the bags back in the car whenever you go to leave again.

Maybe if you read the post I was replying to, you'd see a certain section that my reply correlates too. I edited and "bolded" it for you.

Cashiers don't like them and they are a pain at self checkout: "Unexpected item in bagging area, please remove item before continuing. Item removed from bagging area, please replace item before continuing, Unexpected item...."
