Accusing someone of being gay is very 5th grade.

Default What is your FAVORITE thing about President Obama?

I like his smooth personality and his analytical approach to problem solving.

He seems thoughtful and reasoned. He has driven the Republicans to the brink of disaster for the length of his Presidency. He hasn't gotten us into any wars - yet; keeping my eye on that one. He seems like a devoted family guy. He's smart and calculating.

basically that his policy fails as stop tax and spend and now we see cuts coming automatically. He and Democarts way over estimated the reaction to the sequester cuts. in stead of calling for repeal ;public sees them as only way forward to cut deficit.

There is just one so another can't get elected.

Ya mean as a pasty white boy, I voted for someone of color? I am totally shocked.

Name some "qualified candidates" from '08 and 2012 please, because I wasn't aware of any.

Did you honestly believe that would work?

What I like is that He is proof a minority can succeed to the highest office in the land. Proof that America has come a long way. We are the first western country to elect a man of such heritage to the leadership position.

The sad thing: He's proof that the baggage of being a minority is never left behind. He wasted most of his time in office habitually blaming others.

I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we can talk about what we like best about our favorite 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama.

Personally, I think the best thing about Obama is how much he cares for his family. You can see how much he loves his wife any time they are together. Plus those two cute girls and and now TWO adorable pups! I don't think we've ever had such a youthful, vibrant, loving family in the White House! How much would you love to get a Christmas card with that family portrait in it! Too cute!

And his winning smile isn't bad either!
I did get a 50th anniversary card from the first family of which you speak. I threw it away.
