im a captain of new jersey.
The risk of someone accidentally blowing up an airplane on takeoff or landing with some computer or gaming device is also extremely low but because of common sense and everyone's safety we have to turn them off.....the agenda is increased safety for EVERYONE.......eliminating military style assault weapons, most mass shooters weapon of choice, results in increased safety for everyone even though mass shootings are a "low chance" situation. It's not deception......it's common sense.

what do you mean by "military style assault weapons"? what feature is the most bothersome to you?

you are going to do more than eliminate those weapons in order to make a big dent gun crime (especially considering they make up a very small % of gun crime). shooters can kill a group of children without ar-15's. i believe the navy shooter the other day killed a dozen adults without one.

What feature is most bothersome to me ? Military style weapons in the hands of the public whose sole purpose is for killing people....guns/weapons that serve no hunting or practical home protection purpose.

Absolutely true.....but he also oozes self confidence which most gun enthusiasts lack. To build self esteem and confidence they continuously pose for pictures holding their weapons proudly to display manhood and even though they have a wimpish job all week they are a force to be reckoned with when holding a gun.....and even more manly is the photo of some nitwit posing with his weapon over the body of some dead animal he just shot to prove he's not only a man but a mighty hunter too !!! The most interesting man clearly doesn't need any of this nonsense to feel manly nor does he need to slaughter helpless animals to prove to others that he's a man....he needs to prove nothing to anyone. Too bad those that scream they need a military style assault weapon like the AR-15 in their collection of guns can't see what fools they look and sound like !!!
