Why do the pro gun control folks feel that threatened by law abiding citizens who own guns? They act as if owning a gun automatically turns people into a mass murderer of something.

Because they're morons and intellectually vapid. Fear is a powerful motivator for the stupid.

Yes, it also makes no sense to me for them to be boycotting Starbucks and other places that allow guns in there store because they do not feel safe when it's legal to Open and Conceal carry right outside the door.

Imho its because of where or how they were raised...those of us raised around guns and hunting as a source of food have no problem with everyone having a gun, those not accustomed to them fear the unknown.

I'm not sure if your first sentence makes sense?

Why do pro gun folks feel threatened by law abiding citizens who own guns?

First is a person who is pro gun, not a law abiding citizen? And, would a law abiding citizen who owns guns already be pro gun?

Your sentence would make sense (along with sentence 2) to me if it went: Why do anti gun folks feel threatened by law abiding citizens who own guns?

I don't know, I've been wrong before....

it isnt just fear, but rather a lack of education. most people that fear others carrying firearms have no education about firearms, and about people in general. they are also not in touch with their inner senses. once people who fear firearms have had the chance to learn about them, shoot them, and be around them, they change their tunes about firearms. and once people get in touch with their inner senses, the ones that warn you about bad things about to happen, and learn about body language, they also lose their fear.

I don't think gun control activists want yo outlaw all guns, but want to limit the types of guns you own to limited capacity, semi automatic weapons.

I own guns, if I can't repel an intruder with my shotgun and pistol, with 11 shots, then I have a problem aiming
