Agreed. But here in this country people think that no foreign nation has the right to defend themselves against our government. Because we can do no wrong in their eyes. We are the good guys and the victims while everyone else is out to get us for no reason! Oh my! They hate us because of our "freedom" and our "freedom" only!

Should he just sit there and let the US attack his country ?
It's called defense people.

The US is the aggressor here. You attack a country and you would expect that country to defend itself as well as its allies coming to their aid.

They want to fight because it is a small country.

If a large country did the same America would say nothing.

War makes a lot of money for the rich.

Follow the money and you will see war.

It's an internal civil war started by the CIA in 2011.

Same thing with the uncalled for attack on Saddam Hussein and his people
with no evidence who were trying to defend their country.

Against the Oil War Mongers ! ! !

Assad did not threaten retaliation from Syria but rather stated that an attack would open a Pandora's box from which retaliation might emerge. It would be truly dumb for Syria to directly retaliate as this would invite what he surely does not want, a much larger US response that would lead to the overthrow of his regime.

So he should just sit at home and do nothing while the US attacks his country ?

Gee, why didn't we do that for 9/11 afterall it was just a "statement" by the extremists to stay out of the ME ?

Some people have a warped idea of what war is.

Syria has Russia and China already there and Iran is right next door.
