The nation’s capital has denied a “no stop” permit for the “2 Million Bikers to DC” rally on Wednesday, meant to “remember those who were killed on 9/11 and honor our armed forces.”
Quote:
Denial of the permit sparked outrage on the biker group’s website because the District of Columbia reportedly has granted the American Muslim Political Action Committee a permit for the Million Americans Against Fear rally, formerly known as the Million Muslim March, for Wednesday on the National Mall, the PAC announced Saturday.
Go figure. Isn't it funny how that works???

And now for the rest of the story...

The "2 Million Bikers to DC" organization was denied a no-stop permit from the city, which means it will not be allowed to ride through red lights or stop traffic. Meaning, they can still ride, but cannot expect Washington to be shut down to accommodate them. Oh, the humanity!

The Muslim group, on the other hand, applied months in advance for a permit to hold a rally. They are not asking the city to stop traffic and shut down city streets for them. The city granted their permit. How outrageous!

Default Tomorrow its 9-11

1 million muslim march in DC. Sept 11th... syria
what could go wrong with this picture.

I get the feeling America is going to change tomorrow, I just got a bad feeling.
Remember without liberty you are no longer free. The government is ready to suspend the constitution to make you safe.. are you ready, are you prepared.

I believe the government is moving troops around (for syria) and for something else.

Considering that the 2 Million Bikers to DC group are also planning to be in Washington, D.C. tomorrow and their permit for a no-stop ride (meaning that they would be escorted through traffic lights) was denied, I foresee the possibility of friction.

Yeah, right...and if nothing happens?

This constant fear mongering gets old. Go outside and enjoy life.

They just put in the paperwork this week. The Muslims had put theirs in months ago, and the Muslims won't be stopping traffic.

I'm not actually disputing why their permit was denied, I'm merely pointing out that D.C. is going to be inundated with sound pollution for most of the day tomorrow, which just may irritate some people. With the permit, they would have been through D.C. in 2-3 hours. Without the permit, it's going to take about twice that amount of time.

Nothing's going to happen except for some sparsely-attended memorial services, some moments of silence, maybe some re-runs of 9/11 documentaries on TV. That's it.
