According to the article the school said the teacher was in the wrong.
What do you want a public lashing?

So because one religious group is discriminated against, that makes it OK to discriminate against another? What an insane way of thinking.

J/K.

I'm liberal and Jewish and I think the teacher was wrong. If the kid picked g-d as her idol, then fine; I don't see how it violates church-state separation because it's not coerced.

Whats insane is you equating one teacher's opinion to North Carolina state law.

Burn her as a witch. Obviously.

What kind of country would this be if Christians weren't right 100% of the time?

Do you think you might add something outside of your bigotry? If you believe the teacher was right, make your argument.

The teacher is obviously wrong - a student writing about her religious beliefs certainly does not violate the separation of church and state principle.

Doesn't surprise me in the least - this forum is full of people who can't comprehend this principle or the idea of free speech. Why would the real world be any different?

Clearly, the school DOES understand how it's supposed to work - do what's the issue here?

Sarcasm is bigotry now? The persecution complex expands...

And I dont agree with the teacher, I just find it humorous that the most privileged demographic in America always has so much to complaim about.
