How on earth did they get to the letter "I" this year? Where? What? Are they naming porpoises? Oh that's right. NOAA - a government organization. They are actually naming disturbances that aren't even confirnmed tropical, anything! The last time I remember a season like this was I think, 1967 and they got up to what? Letter "C" or "D" that year? They had satellites then, too, by the way.

there is a decided difference of opinion in these articles.
Your first source clearly states "Over eight out of ten American climate scientists believe that human activity contributes to global warming, according to a new survey released by the Statistical Assessment Service (STATS) at George Mason University."

Your second source states "the vast majority of the Earth scientists surveyed agree that in the past 200-plus years, mean global temperatures have been rising and that human activity is a significant contributing factor in changing mean global temperatures."

The author of your third source James Taylor is being paid by groups like ExxonMobile to cause confusion about global warming.

82% answered yes. What is significant? You could argue as many of the scientists have that took this poll that if man was able to affect climate at all that is significant even if the result was inconsequential. "Significant" has no value and could mean completely different things to two different people.

As far as the 97%:

In this case the 97% consensus is from a pool of 77 scientists.

Why do you want to play "real life" games like Russian roulette with your family??

"Global warming could plunge North America and Western Europe into a deep freeze, possibly within only a few decades.
That's the paradoxical scenario gaining credibility among many climate scientists."

Since global warmimg has been debunked why are all you right wingers still harping on it every day? You should be dancing in the streets but everyday there is a new thread about something that you all supposedly have disproved.

Why?

Strange since global warming was suppose to increase the hurricane numbers and strength... I guess global warming went on vacation on Jupiter...
Whether or not they actually hit the US is quite irrelevant if you think about it.

Make up your mind, is it global warming or climate change?

Why do you have to change the name? Is it because the lies that were told during the first name and the left did not want the lies to be associated with the new name?

Why lie?

we would be happy to discuss the merits of the work done in the "third source" here. However simply saying "That guy got paid by Exxon" doesnt cut it.

he is either right or wrong. He is not invalid because he got $$$ from Exxon.

the guys at CRU get $$$ from the Brit Government. The Brit Government is solidly in the Warmist Camp.
Michael Mann gets giant sums of money from the American Government. the US EPA has declaired CO2 to be a polutant.

Are you willing to invalidate the work of CRU and Mann because of the source of their funds?
