That would equate to about $258 Billion per month or $3.1 Trillion a year.

Sounds like a great plan.
I think you're counting children

$5.4 trillion in transfer payments. Ending all other welfare would save about $1 trillion, so $4.4 trillion in new spending. You should run for office as a democrat...

I just saw this thread.

Let me get this straight.

Every American is to receive $18,000 annually from 50% of the adults who pay taxes. How much do I have to pay to receive $18,000 per year - include in administrative costs to process this nonsense?

Laughable.

There never has, nor there will EVER be a time in which capitalism (the right to own and produce and profit from what you do) will not serve people best.

Rather than eliminating welfare, I say we eliminate the Republican party. The GOP is a cancer in this society. They perpetuate ignorance and bigotry, and represent racism and narrrow-mindedness. Republicans focus on what divides us, not what we have in common. Their stupid solution to problems they create or make worse is to just hope it goes away. Sure, give everyoone over 18 a check and eliminate welfare, while ignoring the stench that Republicans represent in this society in dividing the nation. No.

Once we get rid of the Republican Party, then we won't have to bother ouraelves with stupid ideas like getting rid of welfare, reverse discrimination, and small government.
I say you're one of the most ignorant and least skilled propagandists of our day.

Do you get paid to write this tripe, or do you just copy and paste it from some source?

Obviously, $36,000 plus administrative fees. Your $18000 and someone else's $18000. Oh wait, we're going to SAVE all this money we're paying out in welfare. Um, NOT. You'll still have people processing new claims in as people turn 18 and you'll be issuing a lot more payments than today.

But don't worry, we'll make the rich pay. Instead of 50% paying $36,000, we'll make the top 25% pay $72,000. Never mind that's about how much the bottom people in that bracket make.

I wish the world worked this way though. I could use an extra $18000 a year.

I'm beginning to think LexusNexus is a false flag conservative. Like those liberals who went to Tea Party gatherings with racist signs trying to make them look bad. I think LexusNexus is out to make liberals look ridiculous.

LOL!

I asked, because, really, I'd like to know.

Is he one of the paid activists who trolls social media to write absurd "Obama is a fantastic president" garbage type posts? I know they exist. I've met them online.
