BOR: Oops! Heritage Foundation Poll Accidentally Reveals Republicans Like Obamacare

The Heritage poll is just the latest in GOP efforts to trick the American public into thinking Obamacare is unpopular. Though Republicans like to ramble about how Americans don't support Obamacare, the fact is that's simply untrue. A nonpartisan 2013 Kaiser Family Foundation poll found that the majority of Americans support almost every component of the Affordable Care Act. This includes Republicans--Kaiser found that "Republicans feel favorable towards seven of the 11 provisions" of Obamacare asked about in the poll, including tax credits to small businesses, closing the Medicare "doughnut hole", and healthcare exchanges
Who cares?

Shutting down the government is good. Defunding Obamacare is good.

Obstructing Democrats and Obama are good.

They're not there to pander to polls. They're there to obey the Constitution, which NEVER, EVER authorized such mass stupidity.

They are not going to defund Obamacare. They probably will succeed in making giant a$$es of themselves, but that is nothing new. AND they will fail - again.

Shutting down the government is not good; on what planet do you reside?

What do you need all the federal government we have for? Nothing.

We could just get rid of most of it ,and things would be MUCH better.

Obama should recognize it as he and other liberals did the same many times. He remember voted no on debt ceiling and on use of force against Saddam eve tho he used chemical weapons the Kurd's. He would be voting against himself I still in senate. Has used to be said in the old westerns ;Obama and Kerry speak with forked tongues.

Hate to burst your bubble, but, it is, by definition constitutional. If the Supreme Court says it is constitutional, it is. That is the final test of constitutionality. It says so in in the constitution itself. I don't know how a grown adult in the US could not know this...

Most of the people who keep complaining about Obamacare are covered by Medicare, Tricare, or VA. Some are even covered by a combination of the two. Most have never had to write out a check for $400-800 for health insurance every month. They think a visit to the doctor is free. My neighbor who didn't have any health insurance recently died. Her daughter saw that she was near death and tried to get her to the hospital by ambulance. She refused to get in because of the cost. A couple days later when she was near death from cancer her daughter took her to the hospital where she died. This never comes up but if you are one of those anti-obamacare people have you ever seen a brother, sister, father, parent die and know part of the reason was your family couldn't afford insurance. Answer that.
