that is what the ACA Penalty does. Make sure that you get coverage, and if you don't, you pay a fine until you do get coverage, so you aren't "cheating" the system by getting coverage only at the time you need it.
Wrong - the Obamacare tax takes money from young and healthy people and uses it to fund the healthcare costs of older and less healthy people. Without the tax, it would not work, which is why the regime is so scared of people like Harrier who are planning civil disobedience.
It is theft no matter how you look at it and just another government sponsored Ponzi scheme,
Many live with their own personal budgets, and within their means.
They forgo unnecessary items and services.
I know several people who has done this because a spouse lost their job and are only living with one salary and unemployment. They've cut out dinners out, movies, and downgraded their cel phone plans (as none of them have land lines), and do not have the next fancy schmancy smart phones. They've cut out cable, and only kept internet. All their meals are cooked, and they do full loads of laundry, and use fans instead of air conditions to keep energy costs down. On really hot days, they just spend that time at a park or a local mall, walking around (thereby getting their exercise). they sold one of their cars, and use public transportation when possible.

that is not how the ACA works.
You really should read the law. Its very easy to understand. you're just now repeating what the right wing nut jobs are parroting (who themselves have never read the law)
Harrier hasn't been to a doctor in 15 years, a dentist in 10(his teeth are fine) and he goes to the eye doctor once a years and pays out of pocket.
How do you know your teeth are fine if you haven't been to a dentist? Not all problems are evident, and if you wait until "something hurts" or you NOTICE a problem, it's often too late or more expensive to DEAL with the problem.
More PREVENTATIVE care instead of END STAGE CARE or TREATMENT dollars spent would do a lot to bring healthcare costs down and have a healthier populace.

Sure they should. It's a cost of civilization. Like having to pay for a military even if you don't support the military, and even if you think people being pissed off at your government is the only reason why you'd need protection from an enemy.

They aren't scared of you. You'll just pay it in your taxes. And if enough people "civilly disobey," hopefully they'll eventually see the flaws and get the ball rolling on something you can't escape... like Medicare for all, paid by increased payroll taxes.
IN fact, the more of you who disobey, the better for the end goal of universal coverage.

Why should I buy car insurance? Its mandatory in order to drive a car on public roads, anywhere in the US.
I've been accident free for 2 years now. So, I'm just wasting my money paying for something that will never happen. Ooops. never say never
you're another person who doesn't understand what insurance is for.
Haven't been to the doctor in 15 years? You shouldn't brag about that. There are numerous things that can go wrong with you, if not caught early enough. Like cancer screening, diabetes detection, breast cancer (yes men can get breast cancer), high blood pressure indications
You may feel like you're "a-okay" but guaranteed that there is actually something wrong with you right now.
Dentist? sorry, I wouldn't want to be around anyone who hasn't bother to go to the dentist in 10 years. There are many things that can be wrong with your teeth right now, that you are unaware of. Gingivitis is the number one leading cause of mouth and tooth decay, can can detected and treated early. Of course this doesn't include: gum disease, deterioration of your jaw bone (this is what HOLDS your teeth in place, as you get older, your jaw bone is does shrink), cavities, ulcers, sores, cancer, herpes, etc
Who buys health insurance out of concern for their neighbor? Please raise your hand. I want to know who here has so much money they can afford to do that.
I confess, I do not buy health insurance because I care about my neighbor. I buy it to protect my family. Most people do not have enough money to purhcase insurance for the neighbors. Besides, if I did would they next be saying I should buy them a car? What about a bigger house?

At least you are honest about the objective of the administration - they dance about it because they know that coming out and saying what the goal is would be the death of their game.
We do not want universal coverage. This is the United States of America - home of the FREE - not socialist Europe.

We all have to go someday and for some reason.
Harrier prefers to enjoy his life, rather than needlessly prolonging it by making some doctor rich.

You're making someone rich by just living. Whether it be the banks that you pay your mortgage to, or a doctor (and many doctors aren't rich), or the owner of the supermarket you buy your food from, or the gas station owner with which you buy your gas from, we are all making someone else rich.
