Cop forces family to lie in the road at gunpoint after minor traffic dispute | Mail Online

Waving the gun right at them, including the 15 year old just sitting there.

Between this and that POS shooting Ferrell, this is getting to be too common.

A police officer should never pull his weapon unless deadly force is an acceptable outcome. This guy needs to go ASAP.

I won't even try to apologize for this cop but I also hate the entie anti-police mentality some people seem to have. It's like saying "all black people are..." or "all attorneys are..." or "all Christians are...". People are people no matter how you categorize them and a percentage of all are bat****crazy.

I agree that was totally unacceptable for a police officer to draw a weapon...

Maybe if FIL and his GF had kept their big mouths shut, it never would have escalated to what it did. personally, he should have called for backup once FIL showed up and got out of his truck and he should not have pulled his gun out.

the family escalated the situation, however the cop was also in the wrong for pulling his firearm, the taser should have been more than enough at that point as there was no need for even teh show of deadly force.

Clearly, his life was in danger and he did what he had to do to protect himself. /s

Cops sure are making it easy to hate them.

Trailer trash in a trailer park talked trash to a cop. We don't see the beginning of the incident but based on their behavior here the cop could be justified.

http://www.toledoblade.com/Police-Fi...aid-leave.html

In a police report, Officer Hart wrote he was working Sunday afternoon when he stopped a vehicle at 166 Pine Ridge St., in Raintree Village, for having an “altered” license registration sticker.

During the stop, a man, later identified as Aaron Tatkowski, who was in another vehicle, stopped and got out of his truck, and reportedly told Officer Hart, “I’m [expletive] sick of you cops. I’m [expletive] sick of you harassing people for no reason.”

Officer Hart wrote in the report that he ordered Mr. Tatkowski to get back; when he allegedly refused, the officer said he pointed his stun gun at Mr. Tatkowski

Ms. Meyers, 21, was arrested and booked into the Lucas County jail Sunday night for obstructing official business, tampering with evidence, fictitious plates, and a tax payment warrant.

You might be correct IF the so-called "good cops" didn't lie and support the bad ones. But they do, so as far as I'm concerned they're all scum! They're out of control and are a worse gang threat to American citizens than any of the street gangs.

Basically it just show that you never should start be aggressive with anyone who might think your anther nuts case like many who shoot someone.i imagine many would have done this depending on circumstances which are hard to judge unless you were there. lots of cops get shot by such people. its a dangerous world as we have seen. Cops have no different obligation than you or I in protecting themselves.
