In a recent interview with an Italian newspaper, Pope Francis basically said those people who are "obsessed" with the "gentially related moreal issues" need to chill with that....
I like this pope. he's like the most bro'd down pope since Pope Brad the Chill (not an actual pope) I'll even go so far as to say he's like the Beyonce of organized religion. Who agrees?
I compare him more with Lady Gaga. I don't think Beyonce is all about abortion.
Step 1 would be approving birth control. One of the reasons pLots le are poor is because they have too many kids.
What's the catholic church's message to a dad who makes $7/hour and already has five kids? It is "Go ahead, have another kid."
Especially when they have many kids outside of marriage and with men who won't help support them. Lots more poor kids are to single mothers where the father wants nothing to do with her or his offspring. Too bad this pope won't address that issue.

Mmmmhhh ... I was always led to believe that personal responsibility was taught in the home, no? I do hope you are encouraging YOUR children to practice safe sex and thus avoid an unwanted pregnancy. As my Mother said to me "I don't need to tell you to say "no" to a boy; I make sure I tell MY son not to ask a girl - now if all mothers of boys did that, there wouldn't be a problem, would there?". You see Malamute - starts in the home.
And anyway Malamute, with you being a Texan and all that (broad hint that you're not actually a Roman Catholic), would you really listen and obey ANYTHING Pope Francis or ANY Roman Catholic Pope had to say?
Why not just admit that you're a troll on this thread, we'll all yuk it up, and then go our separate ways?
And by the way, if you're REALLY not done and want to get into the facts and figures on race, welfare, abortion, single mothers, etc. by state, well, I'll be VERY happy to joust with you on that - but I'll give you a little friendly heads-up: It does not bode well for White, Red State, Women.
Abortion is just a nice way of saying you kill human offspring
When I read your post, the first thing I thought was, "Yep... abortion and war." But then I thought, no, because while both kill human offspring, neither is nice.

Catholics have been in Texas a long time, dating back to when it was part of New Spain.

Good Lord! I stand corrected!! There were almost 4.7 million there in 2010. Thanks for correcting me on that - I sincerely appreciate it. I really had no idea.
Do all you Catholic haters just post your thoughts on the Internet, or do you take it to the streets? Do you picket churches and insult their members as they walk by?
No they just go to many sites and spout their hate. I just got an infraction on a Catholic site because I argued with an atheist troll who told me I wasn't a real Catholic because I said the church opposes adultery and divorce.

Those people are likely not Catholic. A true Catholic wouldn't be having many kids out of wedlock. A true male Catholic would support his offspring, not disappear.
