Assuming they could cook up a Frankenstein scheme to bring the Bomber in Chief back to life, would they?

This health care thing seems eerily similar. Take away something that promises to save lives and protect the health of millions, so that they can deny the President a political success. The health care stakes are far larger in terms of real American lives affected than have been Al Quaeda's attacks.

Paid for by millions of others who will have the health care coverage they now have drastically affected and at the same time this program is in the process of costing millions of lost or significantly reduced jobs...

... so the President can move along his socialist agenda and declare a political victory. Sounds real hopey-changey, huh?

Just ask anyone who's been reduced to <29 hours and/or lost their existing health care coverage as part of the deal so far.

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Fundamental Transformation! Brought to you by it's sponsors - the Democratic Party and Lord Obama.

It is a very simple comparison. Throwing citizens under the bus to stick it to Obama. Seriously, that is the only agenda I have seen from this congress since Obama was elected. Make sure the guy fails, and the people be damned. This is a shocking comparison, but entirely apt.

The Dems all ready did. Put long gray hair and a long stringy beard on John Kerry and you have a remarkable resemblance.

Bin Laden was kept alive by the neocons because their terrified, sheep like followers needed a boogie man to be scared of and direct their fears towards.

Pres. Obama had the boogie man shot in the head and dumped in the sea. The neocons have now directed their followers to be scared of the black man in the WH.

Sounds crazy...but also strangely reasonable.

Well, both have death panels.

OBL sent a 19 member death panel 12 years a go.

Obamacare provides an important lesson: If you're going to do something really big, do with bipartisan support. Slam through the biggest tax hike and federal program in decades without a single Republican vote and the outcome is obvious: The GOP will do everything in their power to sabotage it whenever and wherever they can. The Dems would do exactly the same thing if circumstances were reversed and we all know it.

Better idea = Come up with something that at least half of the GOP would vote for and you won't see the same kind of backlash. I doubt Barry and the Dems learned a damned thing, but one can hope.
