We've got Mrs. Obama whining about how OBESE our children are in a nationwide campaign.

Then we've got Liberals whining that our children are starving from not getting enough food stamps.

Every day it's another "crisis du jour" for the LWNJs.

Little Debbie's used to be $.99 but is now $1.79

I spend less than $200/month on food and that includes dog/cats.
I'm not starving and I'm not on food stamps.
I just avoid processed food/junk food and buy what's in season and cook from scratch which gives leftovers.

When my son was still at home it was about $250-$300 a month.

A major problem is that a lot of people don't know how to cook anymore so they have to buy processed or boxed food.
I make biscuits from scratch and cakes and they taste so much better.
Bread is a once in a while thing..I still buy supermarket loaves because they last longer.

You'd think they'd stop embarassing themself.. but nooo.. they subject us non stop to their stupidity.. Now helping people eat isnt enough, we're supposed to pay for all of it.. Hell, next the'll want a private chef to cook it as well.
Hey you couple of sleuths!

How does one "supplement" those who have nothing or no income to begin with?

Could it be................that $4 a day per person doesn't go far?

Difference, I verified this story with other sources first. Show me a source, other than Fox News, that verifies the Surfer Dude story. I am not referring to sources that just quote Fox News. This is an important exercise to verify what is factual and what is possibly propaganda. Try it sometime.

Yet, when the First Lady makes her project educating the public about this, the right criticizes her. Go figure!

This simply isn't completely true. Go work at a damn grocery store.
