Holacracy (how much, parties, world, single)

I have found this interesting concept for governing and organization and I'm kind of wondering if such a thing could be implemented in the real world. It is called Holacracy.

Apparently all parties would have equal say in any policies and the entire group would be moving toward a single goal. It sounds interesting but I wonder how much of an idealistic pipe dream this is.

There is other information out there but I thought this might be the easiest to understand and look through.
