in the name of free speech they are, yet they allow radical Islamist hold public rally's to call for the killing of Jews...I know the irony...
A party is an organization, thus it can be banned if its words and actions are found to violate the constitution, which is a pretty thorough and long process. No party gets banned simply because it says things someone does not like.
Now, with individual protesters it is different. If they are observed calling upon people to kill someone, they will be investigated by the police.
I do agree, though, that they should be stricter in that respect, they are too lenient, probably because they are afraid of trouble with the 4 to 5 millions Muslims that live there, some of whom are very radical already, including converted Germans.

No, leftist are not anarchists. They support total state control. Nazis? I don't think so. Other than total government control, Nazi doctrine doesn't fit. Leftists profess to much intelectualism to fit the Nazi ideal. Communists? Getting warmer. Marx, Lenin, Mao and Ho are required reading for leftists. For some reason, leftists thinks these men supported free intellect and total equality. Socialists? Pretty close. Redistribution of wealth, state allotments, government run business, which also covers communism, and just general reliance on government for daily needs. American leftists are a scraggly bunch. Kinda the junk yard dogs of socialist/ statist doctrine. An eclectic and disorganized mix of ideas. The biggy they share with their Euro and Asian bretheren, is government control of our lives.
