Do you understand what this new system is?
Are you going to do something about it or just sit there like bumps on a log and say nothing, when it's your hard earned tax dollars paying for this, what is wrong with you?
Since the entire meeting was to explain what the new system is, and the other people attending were there to find out what the new system is, perhaps your standing up and making a speech is wasting everyone's time, when people could actually be getting their questions answered instead.

Oooooh...

So every person we elect is put through a Stepford process, where they are brainwashed and taught to scam the public. When they lose a school board election, is there a reverse-Stepford process, or are they forever robots?

Every person? Perhaps not. But read the following again very carefully. I have actually been to MANY School Board, City Council, etc., public meetings in which these manipulative control tactics were in fact used to squash public dissent:
Political / Social Control Tactics

Question Cards, as used in the OP school system townhall meeting incident, are a key component of the manipulation of public input intentionally used to squelch dissent. They answer only the questions they "choose" to answer.

Then why did the panel members stay after the meeting time to continue to answer the questions of people attending the meeting?

Probably because they realized they were about to be slammed into a MAJOR public relations disaster by not letting a parent AND taxpayer ask a question the audience itself was urging the board to listen to.

The audience's vocal support of the man trying to ask his question:
"Let him ask his question!" "Let him as his question!" "Is that really true?"

Requiring "question cards" that are sorted through so that only some questions are answered is a CLASSIC political opposition / social control technique used to squelch any public dissent.

Some of us know that as we've seen the process in action and read the professional journals, etc., that advise such tactics. Others have no clue they're being manipulated.

So the other parents attending weren't sheeple, after all? You need to make up your mind.

How did the meeting end? Did the man get to ask his question? Did the panel honor the audience's request? No and no. Did the sheeple outnumber the informed in the audience? Sadly, yes.

That's not what you said earlier in the thread. You said they were all sheeple. That was why this guy was MORE important than they were, why his questions took precedence over their questions. All of them following procedure were sheeple, you said. If they weren't all sheeple, then why was this guy SO important that he had to break procedure, and then tried to make a speech while all the non-sheeple were waiting to have their questions asked?

You guys are so right. If you are at a meeting of a government body, supported by YOUR TAXES, you have an absolute constitutional right to speak your mind, even if other people are exercising their absolute constitutional right to speak their minds at the exact same time. If the Constitution means anything it means that you, individually, have the right to speak as long and as loudly as you want at any point during the course of any government meeting, no matter what so-called rules the so-called moderator or chairman tries to impose just to SILENCE you.

Anyone who tries to SILENCE a taxpayer, or to make one taxpayer wait to speak until another TAXPAYER is done speaking is a FASCIST, and will have to deal face-to-face with the PEOPLE!

No, I referred to the parents who didn't mind the way the man was manipulated and silenced as sheeple. Read the post:

Perhaps your poor reading comprehension skills are causing you to fail to understand the very legitimate problem that arises when taxpayer dissent over how taxpayer-funded services are delivered is squelched in a manipulative way.
