No.

Man, that was an easy one.

It's truly amazing how folks like you just can't wait to show everyone how racist you are.

I guess they must not realize that reparations are for LIVING people who went through it... not for descendents...

I have never understood how African Americans who are religious and Christian and believe in Jesus, can't see that if they were still in Africa, if their ancestors had not been slaves in America, they would not know what it means to be a Christian.

Have they ever considered that regardless of how or why their ancestors arrived here, they are better off than blacks in other parts of the world? I am not suggesting they be grateful for their ancestors' slavery, just choose to look at their heritage in a way that is proud instead of shameful. The best and healthiest Africans were probably the ones chosen to be brought here to America to work the land. They are no different than other immigrants, in that the best and brightest or at least the most motivated, at one time, chose to move to this country for a better life.

It really is a shame that the civil rights era morphed in the 1970s into a self-centered and greedy Multi-Cultural-Industrial Complex that is now too big to fail. Entire livelihoods are now based on African-American Studies and Women's Studies and supporting English as a Second Language and Ebonics and black dialect in K-12 schools. Then these blacks and Hispanics can't graduate or find jobs or improve their lot in life because they don't have any skills. Government workers (and The Revs) need some dependent class to keep their own jobs administering government programs.

Well there are probably a few. They still bust people of all colors on the black market for trading or having slaves.

Conyers introduces this bill every session - he actually got some cosponsors in 2009 (it looks like all of the CBC), but no cosponsors in 2011-12 or in 2013-14.

I guess he is making a political statement of some sort, but nobody is interested in his "reparations" law ..... even the Congressional Black Caucus ignores it when there is an election coming up.

You win the award for most ridiculous and silly post.

"Without slavery, they would not know what it means to be a Christian."

What makes the Christian faith anymore superior to the faiths they already held?

Teaching us Christianity was worse than the damn slavery itself, but "thanks" for the gift

LMAO...unreal man. Some of these white folks, I swear.

Slaves have been part of Human civilization for over 4,000 years, what makes the blacks special to think they are the only group that deserves reparations???

Didn't Dire Straits do a song on this?

Ridiculous. No I don't support reparations at all, and definitely not for gang members. My great grandfather's family was killed at Auschwitz, maybe I deserve reparations for that (sarcasm).

Humankind comes from Africa, really really lame dude....

So explain why the Africans who sold their fellow Africans into slavery shouldn't be the ones paying reparations?

Explain why in Brazil which bought more African slaves than America they don't have the racial problems America has... I'll tell you why, because in Brazil:

1. Blacks integrated themselves into society
2. Blacks in brazil have a work ethic (other than practicing running holding their pants up)
3. The Brazilian government does not feed/clothe/house and supply medical aid to people that only want to exist on the government dole

Some of these black folks, I swear...

Sitting back with popcorn, this oughta be good....
