That's your opinion. Faux News and the GOP told us he would be our nominee before the primaries were over - epic fail.
He was the Republicans' nominee because the Republicans voted for him in the primary, unless you are saying the cons just vote for whoever Faux News tells them to vote for.
They let Ted talk all night, while the Senate went home for the night and Americans slept. No one cared because he wasn't disrupting anything, and he certainly wasn't going to accomplish anything. It had as much effect as allowing crazy Aunt Martha to rant to herself in the corner while the rest of the family goes about their business.
Once the Senate came back in session, he got the hook. All he proved is that he is a very large bag of wind, something most of us knew already.
You have to let them talk. That's the law. When I said they stopped him, I meant the GOP using hard language rejecting Cruz and basically isolating him outside the party.
Correction - ORomney lost. Why make a change with the same type candidate? ORomney was a subversive progressive Republican - hence, he lost.
..and who exactly voted for him to be the candidate? Obviously the majority of right wing voters. Please tell us who in that field of right wing candidates during the primaries could have beat Obama. The only moderate guy, Huntsman, was kicked to the curb.
Brit Hume started the conversation at the beginning. All dialogue focused on questions framed around Romney. That wasn't lost on those of us who refused to vote for him. Besides, I am not in a swing state, he won my state, so my vote wouldn't have hurt him.
I think that TC believes that old axiom that any publicity is good publicity. Its not and he is living proof of it. This was a horrible stunt and that is all it was a stunt. I feel like he was going to come out and try to sell me some hair tonic.
According to Politico, the Tiger Beat of the Beltway, GOP Senator John Boozman yelled at Ted Cruz during a closed door meeting and the Republican infighting continues.
"Boozman, an Arkansas Republican elected in 2010, stood up and yelled at Cruz, expressing frustration that his staff was deluged with belligerent phone calls mostly from out-of-state activists attacking the senator over the issue of defunding Obamacare, according to several sources familiar with the exchange. Boozman also slammed Cruz for suggesting Republicans were in favor of the three-year-old law even though all of them opposed it and have repeatedly voted to repeal it.
"Staring at Cruz, Boozman said he hasn’t been bullied since the seventh grade and he wouldn’t be bullied now."
"Several Republicans cheered Boozman and one quipped: “A sleeping bear had been awoken.”
I have written this for many months and it continues to be true. No one except for far right wingers who listens to Ted Cruz speak likes him afterwards. I truly hope conservatives nominate him for the presidency. He'll get crushed badly.
You forgot his Darth Vader impression. Cruz is fighting against the Nazis, the red coats, and the evil Empire.
